Searched the web and here for my question. I loaded Chrome to Phone on my Droid 2 successfully. Now I am confused . I do have Chrome running on my PC with the extension that allows for communication to the Droid. Is there a Chrome browser for the Droid that runs on the phone jt like the PC version?

When you send the link from your PC to your Droid, it will open in the default browser on the Droid. :)

The stock browser is based on Chrome I believe, but you should be all set for Chrome to Phone to work. I just used it last night to send a recipe from my desktop to my phone so I could take it to the kitchen. Pretty handy.

dylanthecat is correct, the native Android browser is Chrome-based. Which when you think about it, makes sense for a device running Google's OS.

I like the way I can use just the "one" location to do searches or enter web addresses, much cleaner.
