Like the title says, Chrome is slow on my Bionic. I takes a minute plus to load on a strong 4g signal or on wifi. Dolphin is quick on my Bionic so it is not a hardware issue. No other program is slow. Chrome is quick from the same location on my Acer tablet. I have tried resets and battery pulls. What can i do to speed it up?

Agreed. I had to abandon Chrome. Opera is working great for me. I've done FDRs and cache resets (daily) to no avail

There really are several good options. Next Browser, the newest Dolphin, Lightening and more. So if Chrome is the problem and you cleared its cache maybe it's time to switch rather than fight. You should give the others a chance anyway as they are all free and can be uninstalled.

I've had issues with Chrome as well; ended up trying all sorts of different browsers. The fastest loading browser I've found was Dolphin Mini.

Also, I installed Chrome Beta the other day, and it's light night and day compared to the regular Chrome. Almost as fast as Dolphin Mini.

Open Chrome, tap menu on your phone, settings, privacy, all the way at the bottom is clear browsing data, tap it, check what you want to clear, tap clear.
Hope that helps.

The S L O W is back. My screen is set at a 2 minute time out, and it times out sometimes just opening a very simple web page form I need to access for my on the go biz everyday. Clearing cache doesn't seam to have the effect as the first time. I have Dolphin, it is quick on the same page. But I use Chrome on my PC, my android tab, and my iPad. I like the integration across all of my platforms. A book mark on one device is available on the next etc. How can Chrome be so fast on every device except my Bionic, the one I need to use the most for on-the-go access?

Any help with another solution to speed up Chrome out there in DF land?

Wouldn't you rather just switch than fight. ;)

Do you have multiple tabs going at once? If so the background ones open first, then the to layer one eventually loads and renders. The more tabs, the slower it loads.Try Chrome settings, bandwidth management, pre load web pages, choose never.

Honestly, if it is that slow after just a week since clearing the cache you probably need to try setting chrome up over again

I recently went back to my Bionic and I'm using Chrome...

When I first setup Chrome I told it NO for signing in with my google account and I told it NO on all other options to include chrome to phone as well as I disabled google+...

I have no issues with chrome other than it not feeling as fluid as chrome browser for my PC...

My general rule is this: The more freedom you give to an app, such as linking with other apps, linking with web sites, sending anonymous data, collecting location data it doesn't really need or linking with your 'other' accounts generally ends up in something or some function of an app not working properly, slowing down functionality on your device etc etc, let apps have what they need based on what you want them to do and NOTHING MORE.

So try resetting chrome from the beginning, tell it no to everything you can at setup and if you dont use google+ then disable google+ and come back in a week and say thanks or tell me I'm way off ;)

i have alot of issues with chrome also on the bionic, and its been going on for a while. It really lags my phone alot. I force close and clear cache on a daily basis but doesnt seem to help for long. Ive gone back to the "browser", but I miss the functionality of chrome.
