Choppy screen function

My Razr has recently started having choppy function when I swipe the screen to open it. As I swipe, it stops and stutters for a bit before opening the phone. I installed Advanced Task Killer and it seems that there are always a ton of apps running. Any way to stop these apps from launching automatically?

That would most likely not be from having to many apps open. I'm not sure what it could be, but it could be the CPU which you do want to monitor on the phone. Check out an app called watchdog!

DrZusch, I'm probably the dumbest person on this forum, as I've only had an Android device for less than a month, but I did read Android Task Killers Explained: What They Do and Why You Shouldn’t Use Them which you might find interesting.
