"Choose input method" notification icon keeps appearing...

I changed my keyboard input to swype. Now I keep getting the little keyboard icon in the upper left notification area.

I can't count how many times I have pulled it down and clicked the "already chosen" swype option to clear it. But it keeps coming back.

Any ideas how to stop it from bothering me?

It's a normal "feature" added with ICS and after. No way I know of to make it go away.

Like mountainbikermark said, that's a normal feature. It lets you choose which keyboard you want to use for each app you are typing in. I think its pretty handy, especially since the new Chrome update is not compatible with the Swype keyboard. This way I can have Swype as my default keyboard and easily switch to the normal keyboard when I use Chrome.
