Upgraded from 5.2>5.3, none of the Chevy scripts would work.
Wiped, installed 5.3, same thing, no scripts working.

Restored back to 5.2, upgraded to 5.4, again, none of the scripts are working.

Is anyone else having these issues?

Works fine for me, how exactly did you install the ROM because it states in the OP that "if you wipe data or do anything else in recovery, reboot to recovery THEN flash the ROM" for you I would suggest doing a full wipe data/factory reset, then wipe dalvik and cache partition as well. Make sure you backup your apps first then reboot into recovery. From there:

    Wipe Data/Factory Reset
    Wipe Cache Partition
    Wipe Dalvik Cache
    Reboot Into Recovery
    Flash ROM
Flash Kernel (if you're flashing a kernel)

I'm pretty sure I rebooted back to recovery after I wiped, but I'm going to give it a try again today. Thanks for the help.

Any updates? Something is fishy as this works for others ...

I have the same issues with 5.4, did a triple wipe for both cache/data. :-(
However they worked fine for me in 5.3.
Is there a difference between using the scripts versus using Root Explorer to manually delete them? ( I tried running fix-p's thru Clockwork, and while that works, it didn't fix the issue.)

Can you tell me which scripts do not work? Are you getting an error, or just not getting intended results?

    Chevy & Ape,
I've found the root of MY problem. The issue was it wasn't completing the delete sequence. It'd just sit there and give me spinning symbol, with no final results. USB debugging wasn't selected. :-/ I know that in order for your (Chevy) scripts to run, it must be enabled. When i flashed 5.4, for some reason this wasn't selected. Problem solved, for me anyways. Good luck Ape, and thank you Chevy for trying, my anal-retentiveness proved the victor in this scenario. ;-) dancedroid

Was giving SS 5.4 a try after using LGB for a while and had the same issues with scripts not working and was getting frustrated and admittedly, it was leaving a bad taste in my mouth.

Thanks for posting your solution; I enabled USB debugging and scripts worked fine.

After seeing this, I realize the debugging may have been my problem all along. Anyhow, I ended up doing a full wipe, then reinstalled 5.4 and everything is now tip-top.
