charging question

when i plug it in to charge, the battery icon doesent change to the one with the little one with the lightning bolt in it, but the phone says charging, so is it charging or no.

if i try a different charger its all ok and the battery icon changes to charging and phone says charging.

im guessing the charger has gone out, or is going out?

From your home page go to Menu>Settings>Battery - does it say charging? If not, it's not. Best to use the charger and cable that came with it. It's possible that if you are using another cable it's the problem, not your phone, since it seems to work (if I understood you correctly) with a different charger.
