Changing to safe strap recovery question?

I'm using the tweeked version of koush's bootstrap. I have several recovories using this with clockworth mod. Question is if theses old recovories will work if I switch to safestrap. Since that what seems to be the one that will stick around

Nope.
The backups are not interchangable.

Best bet is to restore with one of your recoveries using bootstrap. And backup with Safestrap first. And then if you want, go back to bootstrap to restore your current state of your phone as of today.

It's not tricky but if you need help, Hashcode has a thread over at Xda with changing between recoveries (Bootstrap/Safestrap)

Thanks guys. I found the answer out by reading more. I just wanted the option to switch back and forth before switching to maverick. But I'm loving maverick any way so I will stick with that for a bit. That is until an aosp rom gets built or ics gets into a more daily driver state.
