Changing the bottom screen keys

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the bottom screen keys from the default phone, contacts,messaging and apps?

I don't text enough to warrant a dedicated key for it and you can access the contacts from the phone anyway so it seems like a waste of a key.

Your best bet is to download a home replacement app like adw, launcher pro, or similar. I was using launcher pro before i rooted with great success.

Yes u can, you have to touch the edit key at the top ( where it shows the dots for your pages) in your application page, then When the icons are highlighted, hold And drag down the ones you want.
