Changing Gmail password

I would like to change the password on my gmail account. I know how to do it on my pc but how do I change it on my Droid? Or do I even have to change it on the phone.

Just change it on your PC (or on your phone via a browser) and then your phone should ask you to 'sign in' and prompt you for your new password.

Changed the password on my pc, but the phone didn't ask me to sign in. Now it says no connection and clicking on the "Retry" button doesn't do anything.

Got it taken care of. I went to the App Market and it asked me to sign in, because the password had changed. After authenticating the log in, my gmail account started synching again.

Was looking for an answer myself on the forums and it asked me to re authenticate. Gotta love it! DROID!
