Change Lock Screen Text?

Hi everyone-

Been looking all over for workable (and preferably free) screen lock customizations... all I want to do is move the text (time/date, banner) to the bottom or side of the display.

Any thoughts? I can't seem to find a decent app that would allow me to do such a simple customization. All the apps I've found so far don't seem to work right. Does Lock 2.0 work for this?

ChevyNo1's Simply Stunning 4.7 ROM offers this option standard.
You can customize the text to anything you want it to say including special characters.
The text will show on your lock screen along with your notification bar.

Hmm haven't thought of a custom ROM... i waited all this time for the OTA Froyo-- trying to stay down the straight/narrow for now.

Just a guess, but this is in the DX Section, so the O/P probably has an X

Sometimes on Tapatalk it is easy to forget what section you are in

O/P look up Widget Locker in the Market I believe it let's you add widgets and customize your lockscreen

FWIW WidgetLocker worked perfectly. Got me a nice simple lock screen which gives me enough room for my live wallpaper in the background
