Change home screen back to 3D

Forgive me for not knowing the terminology, but I rooted my phone and loaded the Home screen to get back the normal look of the stock Droid. Whenever the screen came up to choose between Home and the 3D screen (forget the name), I finally just chose to make Home the default selection from that point on.

How do I get the menu back to choose which Home screen I want?

Settings -> Applications -> Manage -> Filter "All"

Select the launcher you're using, and select "Clear Defaults".

Press the home button and the menu will appear.

I upgraded to Cynagen 5.08 and I no longer see the option to return to the default Home screen. How can I change back now?

Launcher2 was the '3d' default launcher for cyanogen, but in 5.0.8, it was replaced with ADW Launcher (much much better IMHO).

You could probably find the .apk for launcher2 somewhere, and you can still DL the 2.0.1 'Home' launcher from clockwork rom manager under the cyanogen section.

Follow the same directions I gave you in the second post. In this case, find ADW launcher and clear defaults.

FWIW, ADW launcher is way better than the old stock launcher. Your choice, though, obviously.
