If you are not familiar with CF-Auto Root just know that this is a method for rooting your device without having to go through the full method of unlocking your bootloader, installing recovery, and then rooting your device. CF-Auto Root keeps your device as close to stock as possible, and allows you to accept updates. Chainfire has recently updated CF-Auto Root. This will pave the way for quickly and easily rooting your Android 6.0 device.

This update brings CFAR support to more than 300 devices. Both 5.1 and 6.0 are now supported. CFAR will now install SuperSU v2.65 no matter what your base firmware is. This does not yet support BETA 6.0 firmware on the Samsung devices. Chainfire is currently working on this.
