I set a picture of my wife as a contact icon then created a shortcut on my home screen so I can just click on the picture and dial.

For some reason a capital "H" appears on the upper left of the icon? it still works and dials her correctly, just curious how that got there???? I checked the original picture in the gallery and it's not in the photo.

Deleted the shortcut and redid it but the same thing happens.

I just did a manual upgrade to 2.2 but I can't see why that would have anything to do with it.

Just curious.....:icon_eek:

Thanks

Is it a Home number?

Yup....I guess that's part of it, but it wasn't there before.

If you have a Home number and another number also set for a contact, an H appears on the icon to indicate the Home number.

Thanks guys, that go to be it....that must be another feature of 2.2.

The funny thing was when I made the switch to 2.2 I swear the "H" didn't show up right away I think it took about 20 minutes before I noticed it.

Direct Dial shortcuts have had the letters at least since 2.1. Contact shortcuts do not have them, IIRC.
