Cant update contacts

Just bought the Razr for the wife and its her first smartphone. When we update the contacts on the phone and click save and go back to the contact it is still uncorrected. Been on the phone with Verizon for an hour at least with no luck. The phone is not communicating with the Backup assistant plus at Verizon. If you update the contact on the computer and then resync it it still does not update it.

Has anyone else seen this or know how to fix it?

on my droid 2 when i try to add a number to a contact it tells me i cant edit facebook info wtf? i have had nothing but problems with my droid and when my contract is up i dont think i will be getting another

Are you using gmail? That has worked flawlessly for me.
I have never used Verizon backup assistant.

Facebook contacts cannot be edited. But you can create a new contact with number and then join the 2
