Its only power +volume down. Try that. Hold them down like your doing a soft boot.

^ yep, that's how you do it. You have to hold down power and volume down button for a couple of seconds.

That means you are still on gingerbread and screen shots are not possible with the Razr on GB unless you are rooted.

Also you have hold the power button and volume button for a full 10 seconds, a few seconds won't do. Good luck!

I flashed the leak. It works great if you are adventurous.

I haven't rooted my maxx yet, I just got it on Monday. I was trying to hold off until the OTA dropped so I wouldn't have to scramble to find an SBF. But if it doesn't drop soon I may just break down and do it. Any recommended rooting methods?

1) Go here and download these two files.
2) While downloading ensure your phone is rooted. Use Matts utility.
3) Go to the play store and get Es File Manager and Rom Manager.
4) Connect your phone with mass storage. Place the two files and place them into your /sdcard NOT /sdcardext
5) Place phone in charge only then open ES File Manager.
6) Move the two files from /sdcard and then place into /cache NOT /system/cache
7) Quick press Blur_Version.6.12.181.XT912.Verizon.en.US.zip and open with Rom Manager
8) The phone will restart and start flashing automatically.
