I have a Motorola milestone and I can't get a Rom to work. I use Rom manager to download Rom and flash it but when my phone reboots it is stuck in an endless boot cycle. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions?

Make sure you are flashing a comparable rom. What happens after you wipe and cache?

What ROM are you trying to flash?? I see you have the A854 Milestone so regular Droid ROMs should work for you.

    Can you get into recovery??

Flash raid zero's rzr recovery. Then try flashing your rom.

Will his recovery work on other devices? I agree with you though, if at all possible drop CW and ROM Manager

I'm not for sure Yank, I think milestone and Droid are comparable. I'm running Rzr but not on a milestone.

Yeah, it is a great recovery. I'd def recommend the OP look into it ... if it'll work on a milestone I say go for it!!!

First, be sure its compatible with your details device. Look in raidzero's section under custom ROMs

How about flashing an older version of CW? This used to work for me when using RM. I think down towards the bottom you'll see all versions (or something like that), try flashing on of those ...

Closed for clean up. Apparently some common sense was spilled and lost on isle five.
