Can't reboot phone

For some reason I cannot reboot my phone anymore as of this morning.. Hold power button in and volume up and nothing happens... Decided maybe I was mixed up and tried power button and down volume and that takes a screen shot... WTF..??

Hold volume down first, then hold down power down together, if you do it this way you won't get a screen shot.. but if you do it at the same time, it will take a screen shot, but just hold it down longer and it will shut off....

got it my otterbox was mis aligned.. brain fart...
