cant install market update

Like the title says i downloaded the apk from xda for the 3.4.7 market and i can download it but it wont install.
Im running a vortex rom and i wouldnt think stops it. Anyone have any ideas to make it install.
Also i did clear data and cache from the original market

Also to note when i go back on the market it gives me the you accept google play blah blag and i accept im still on the 3.3.11 version

Go to your manage apps screen. One of the choices should be to allow non-market apps. Make sure that box is checked.

Use root explorer or similar and move it to /system/apps

Haha ivedone that as well. I dl one that was zip but it aborted

Not the zip just the apk. Don't install it. Just move it to /system/apps.

No the apk wouldn't install. Ok the apk is there what do I do if I don't install?

Just move it using root explorer or es file explorer to /system/app

Long press it and change permissions to

ok the RW's were the ticket. Got it installed. So what difference am i supposed to see because it looks like the same market as before
