So I just did a hard/factory reset of my phone because it had been running very oddly, phone calls did not display the answer screen for fifteen seconds, two hard freezes, so I just decided to wipe my whole droid and start fresh.

Only I still have the superuser app in my app tray, and typing su in my terminal app provides me with a #.

How can I remove root from my phone? I don't feel that I need it at this point.

Thank you everyone so much, after an hour of tinkering around I finally removed root from my phone. That last suggestion was infact the easiest and fastest way to do it, especially for someone who is a relative noob to the scene of programming and root functions haha.
