Can't download

Anything I try to download off droidforums wont work. It says download unsuccessful. What is with my phone.

I tried to download romer v7, liberty zip from 13th angel, and the official liberty link. Trying to liberate my phone but Verizon has an iron grip on this one.

Its not verizon, you don't have any apps that allow you to download a .zip extension, just download astro file manager and in preferences there's something about allow downloading
