cant connect to wifi after installing 5.0.6

Have never had a wifi issue on my Droid before now, but whether I hit the wifi button on the power control or go in manually through settings, I can't connect.
Anyone else have this problem or know of a fix?
Also, my phone is pretty damn hot after running this for only about ten minutes...

Install a different kernel from rom manager.

I had the same issue until I install the 1ghz P3 kernel.

Seems to be an issue a lot are havning with the stock kernel in 5.0.6
