Can't change LED frequency

There are options on handcent,missed call and on other apps that allow you to change the LED frequency but when I attempt to change it the led stays blinking at a fast pace. I try to put it to slow but still blinks fast. Did I mess up the Led?

Uninstall and reinstall maybe? This is odd...

This happens on every app not only handcent. Maybe I'll have to unroot.
