I am fixing a phone for a friend. They do not know the password. They dont care if they lose data. So a factory reset is in order right. So I found the reset instructions. Very simple and straight forward.
Hold down power and volume button at same time
When logo comes on release power button continueing to hold vol button down until reset options come on.
Scroll down to select wipe data/factory reset. hit home button to select.
then scroll down to "yes--- delete all user data" push home button to select.
The phone still comes back to "confirm password" which I dont have.
Frustrating, please help.
