I have unrooted and went back to stock but there is still a file on my phone (not sd card) called init.sholes.rc that I cannot delete. I have tried to rename it, move it, and delete it via androzip but to no avail. Any suggestions?

my guess would be since you are not rooted, you no longer have the capability of mounting the system read/write, thus you cannot make any changes to the system.

Sorry I should have included in the OP that while I was rooted I still couldn't delete it.

I think that file is supposed to be there, but without looking at an unrooted phone I can't say for sure.

You do know that sholes was the Motorola name for the Droid and it's possible that the file has nothing to do with the sholes team roms.
