Cannot connect to PC??

For reasons unknown to me, my droid 4 will not provide me with the usual drop down option to mount USB storage once I connect it to a computer. Its as if the phone thinks its being plugged into a wall charger. Any suggestions??

Here's what I've tried so far:

1. removing SD card
2. Installing latest moto drivers, 5.4.0
3. Restarting phone and PC
4. Connecting to xbox 360 (which provides the option to mount USB storage on my OG droid)

Use the cable that was provided with the phone... I had the same problem.

I had the same problem, and was using a moto cable from my Droid2, used the one that came with teh phone, all better

Hi i had the same problem but i tried using a blackberry cable and guess what? its working now ! dancedroid
