Just what it says.... I just tried to play an audio attachment in a text from my sister and it says there are no applications to do so... perhaps its one that I have disabled?? Or is this an ics glitch?

And when you disable my music, it disables poweramp also? Or is it that my music is the only player that will play messages with sound?

As a test, I texted myself 2 different sound files, one was a .wav file, the other was a MP3, and both played after I got the text, but I have "My Music" frozen in Titanium Backup. Are you sure that was the app that caused it?

That's what I enabled and it worked.. do you have another music player enabled that is set up to see files in that area?? I run power amp, but it can only see files in sdcard-ext/music... or else power amp would see it.. but it ticks me off when I do a library scan and get a bunch of garbage in my way... I take my practice time seriously lol

I have no clue. I really don't remember designating what to play music files with. As long as it works I pay it no mind LOL

Same here! Otherwise I get all the garbage... ringtone files, notification files, every app that has a sound file. I don't need all that crap in my music player.

OK I defrosted "My Music" and went to play the sound files again, thinking it might give me a choice of what app to play the files with, but it didn't, it just played the like normal, but it doesn't say what app is playing them. I just figured it was worth a shot LOL
