I'm coming from a BB. I really liked having different icons for each mail
account on the desktop, that had a star on it when there was "fresh" mail.
I monitor 4 different gmail accounts. Its kind of annoying having to use the one gmail program for all four. It requires you to go to the main inbox, hit the menu button, and select an alternate account.
More steps than I prefer and it's a little clunky. Suggestions? I looked in the shortcuts section but it didn't give the option to put a single gmail account on the desktop.
