Can you create a demand?

A month ago you had a lot of complaints about the nexus 6 being too big and that this will be Google's lowest selling nexus. A month later with limited supplies put out like a golden ticket for the chocolate factory and now you have an uproar about supplies. The uproar gets louder and louder to hopefully those who are unaware of the device will hear it. The iphone we know, the note phones we know, even droids people know, but nexus is still not as loud. Am I wrong?

Nexus is known by tech enthusiasts. That's it. Walk up to a random stranger and ask them about a Nexus. Then ask about Apple or Samsung. Google doesn't promote them where it counts...on televison.

I agree. The general public likes "bells & whistles" and the Nexus has never been about bells & whistles., and thus will never be as popular as an iPhone or Galaxy device.

I think the educated buyer knows exactly what the Nexus is.
We never see a Nexus product here in SE Asia till the next one is in the rumor mill.
Probably why I wonder what bells and whistles the Nexus products are missing?
