Can we port facebook from iphone to droid

    honestly, its only thing droid is lacking
    if done, greatly appreciated

    also if not iphone, are there any other facebook apps we can port?

    Check out an App called Bloo. It is for Facebook and its pretty good.

    ??? I run a Facebook app on my Droid. Also, the 'share' option allows direct posts from photos, etc. Check out urlm.in/egha for a variety of recommended apps, including Facebook for the Droid.

    Nothing can be ported from the iPhone to Android. Different programing languages. It has to be re-written.

    And the voting has been over for almost 3weeks....You can change your Sig ;)

    He's not saying that the Droid is lacking a Facebook app, he's saying that compared to the iPhone version the Android one is a joke (I agree). And from what I understand of app development it would be simpler to build an app from the ground up than trying to port. Someone correct me if there is some way I am not familiar with.

    touch.facebook.com is also a good alternate.

    Actually I find lite.facebook.com a better one for me. You may like it

    Bloo is terrible and broken. All the links just go to the news feed and you get duplicate notifications. I kept it installed for a total of an hour last week before I was sick of it.

    "We?" If you have to ask, I doubt it. Someone else might be able to, though.
