Can someone explain the symbols?

    On my Droid Eris, there are a couple symbols at the top which I'm sure you all are familiar with. I just don't know what the 1x with the arrows underneath, the 1x with the D underneath, the 3G with the arrows underneath, and the 3G with the D underneath. I also want to know the relevancy of the bars to the right of the symbols. Can anyone explain???

    As I recall they are all in the manual. 3G is the meaning that you are connected to the 3G network. The bars to the right are signal strength. The more bars, the better the signal.
