I made a simple script which can easily root Droid1s, and I am wondering if it will also work for the Droid2. So I was wondering if someone with a Mac and Droid2 (who wants to root their Droid2) could try this out and let me know.

Make sure your Droid is connected to the computer using USB.

Make sure the following settings are enabled:
    Code:
Settings -> Applications -> Unknown sources (checked)
Settings -> Applications -> Development -> USB debugging (checked)

    root.zip

Just unzip it, and then in a terminal:
    Code:
    ./run.sh

You should have to wait about 10 seconds, then, you should have Superuser installed, and able to use "su"

If you don't know how to open a terminal and what "./run.sh" means: Let me google that for you
