My service is goin to my d4 so my d2g is dead in service..is there anyway I can use my d4 in some way to give my d2g data signal for internet? Basicly make it a ipod...I have wifi at the house, but my roms won't pick it..however the wifi at work does on my roms...kinda odd...if wifi tether is the ansewer, I don't know to do that.

    Didn't work..anything else?
Wifi wouldn't connect thru my droid 4.
Blue tooth turns on, but I guess my d2g either won't pick it up or it won't let the d2g access the internet

    Possibly a bit more information?

What things have you tried so far to fix the problem?
How long since you have not gained internet access?
Last thing you did before you lost internet access?

2fix the problem I ran fix permissions over and over...battery pull...reboot, power off and on.
Last thing I did was probably return messages on facebook when the phone had service 8months ago..this d4 I have now will never connect to wifi at home if I'm on a rom...if I go back to stock, it works like a charm...howeveer, the wifi at work loves the d4 even on my rom..
But I'm talking abt wifi tether tho in this thread

A bit confused over some of the things said still but here is what I do know. Part of making the wifi tether app capable of sending wifi to your d2g is your d4 has to be on LTG. CDMA (3G) won't work. CDMA is considered an ad-hoc network and typically bc of their inherent flaws only computers can really get on that network. However once you use wifi tether on LTG it is considered a peer to peer network and can then give Internet to other devices I.e. smart phones, game consoles, and computers.

As far as wifi on your phone not working I have experienced certain frozen apps can cause a loss of wifi access. Make sure you double check all the apps you have frozen. If that doesn't work check into your smart actions and make sure there is no wifi actions that conflict at work and not at home

Hopeuflly this made sense to you
