Can i switch att g2 to verizon?

Can i switch att g2 to verizon? i have an account with both but only my att is available for an upgrade and i need the phone for verizon ( of course ). I have tried searching threads with not much luck figured i ask here. Anyone know if i can unlock it for use with verizons 4glte network. thanks

I would assume you can since the phone has a global mode. Worst you can do is call Verizon and ask.

No. AT&T is GSM and Verizon is CDMA. They are different technologies. You can Google it for more info if you're interested.
