I am switching from a D2 to a DX and would like to be able to restore all of my settings/apps/data without having to spend hours. Both phones are rooted and I am using Koush's Bootstrap Recovery. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

You can restore your apps from titanium backup, but not data. You will have issues. Just gonna have to set it all up again. If you use any of the good launchers, like LPP, ADW, or Go launcher and backup your home screens those might work. But not sure.

You'll get droid 2 data/stuff onto the DX that's not supposed to be there and will cause issues. Just do what the others said, use TB, use mybackup pro if you wanna back up call log/texts/mms/whatever and then do it that way.
