Can I replace my screen?

I dropped my phone and my screen is cracked bad.
It still works though thankfully!
I took it to the verizon store and they said they can't do screen replacements.
Was that staff member just stupid?
Because I've looked for phones on craigslist and then some of the search results would say "screen repairs 5 dollars!" So the screen can be replaced right? Or do I have to buy a new phone?

look on ebay for a replacement screen and replace it yourself.


I did it to a motorola work phone the other day...its easier than I thought...idk about your lg though....on the motto phone I did screen just plugs right in once you get in there.

Of course you can replace it. What is your device model? You can go where you bought the phone to have the screen replaced or just buy it on ebay to replace it yourself.

I have to say that the employee is stupid and out of mind. The screen is broken so that need to but a new phone? How can he/she said that?
