1. You want that $100.00 in your pocket or an Amazon Fire TV don't you? Well here's the deal. With our new updated look we are in desperate need of an updated logo. The 'old' one has certainly served us well, but it's time. Find all the details here: bit.ly/1q0k6Wa

I love this Droid, but i wonder if I'll ever get good on the physical keyboard. The virtual keyboard seems so much easier to use. I start to think that if I'm not going to use the keyboard then I might as well exchange it during the 30 free trial for a HTC Eros. Well I know I wouldn't do that, but I think about it. What is your experience with the real keyboard? Are you getting better over time? Maybe my fingers are just too big. :motdroidvert:

I actually prefer the physical keyboard. I make too many mistakes on the virtual keyboard!

If I need to be real precise I use the real keyboard. I try to use the virtual whenever I can.

I'm more accurate on the physical keyboard but I wish it had the same capabilities as the virtual (suggesting words).

Never really messed with it until I did the manual update. I guess I'd better play with it some. If the predictive text was there I'd probably use it more.

I make too many typos on the physical. I make a buttload on the virtual keyboard as well, but the Droid usually fixes them for me.

You know, the horizontal virtual keyboard is cool with the autofill, but the delete key is in such a place that it is easy to brush and-bummer. Any suggestions? Can you change the sensitivity of the touch screen?

I'd say I'm pretty close to mastering it. Before the Droid, I had an LG Voyager which has a rather large and spacious physical keyboard. First time I used the Droid's keyboard I thought that there was absolutely no way I'd ever be as fast as I was on the Voyager. That's certainly not the case any longer. I'm actually able to type accurately for short periods of time without even looking at the keyboard -- something that I thought I'd never be able to do because of the shallow/flush keys.

I really don't understand all the people that say they only use the virtual keyboard. While the Droid's virtual keyboard is pretty nice, I don't think anything can beat out actual physical keys.

Can you give us any tips as to how you became proficient? My problem is I keep hitting 2 keys at a time.

I am that person. I only use the virtual keyboard. For the life of me I cannot type on the physical keyboard for sh*t. The virtual works great for me. The only issue I had was that I typed too fast for it and it wasn't recognizing all of the keys I pressed (at least not putting them on the screen even though the buttons were appearing as if they were pressed), so I slowed down my typing. I barely have this issue anymore since 2.0.1. Needless to say, I wouldn't mind a keyboard-less droid that was even thinner.
