I rooted my Droid X when it was at 2.2. The other day I downloaded an incremental update OTA and lost root. That's not a big deal to me, but now the phone isn't running very well. It's hanging and crashing a lot.

Can I flash back to SBF?

i think you understand what an SBF is. its a stock file that will set it back to out of the box state but involves some work. if you are willing, you can try a factory reset in settings.

Thanks. Should all my apps sync right back in after the reset?

Go to Menu, Settings, Privacy and uncheck the Back Up My Data and Automatic Restore check boxes.
