Can I change the ugly, basic Lollipop home buttons

    I just downloaded the Lollipop update and I already hate the home buttons, somebody please help me change it.

    Can you provide us with a little more information (Or screen shot) as to what exactly you're not happy with? I've never known an OS update to make a change to the home button, but perhaps this is different on the G3.

    The 3 buttons at the bottom, I don't like the preschool basic shapes for the recent, home, back buttons.
    I saw both those already, the app requires root and the other option didn't work.

    Is there no way to fix it without rooting?

    It's part of the core system, so no. Root will be required for sure.

    My phone isn't rooted and the no root method is probably for Kit-Kat, not workable on Lollipop.
