May be a stupid question but I am using LauncherPro and have no need for HelixLauncher. I don't have an option to remove the app in the market so how should I go about it?

From your home screen, hit your menu button and go to "manage applications". You can uninstall most anything from there ;)

I wondered the same thing. But Helix isn't in the app list. I'm thinking he made this the system launcher (vs. the 2.1 home launcher) and thats why it cant be uninstalled. But then again it's late so I could be wrong.

Not specifically, I have Marty4short's blue theme applied as an update.zip.

Running BB? get OI File Manager. Then go to system/app and find the helix apk and you can delete if from there

    removing launcher

Hello. I am trying to remove launcher2. I'm running bugless beast 1.1. I have three different launchers on my phone and don't use two of them. Currently using launcher pro.

How can I remove the others, or should I leave them alone. I'm asking because when I use better cut, it sees i have multiple launchers, and constantly asks me to select one. I would select launcher pro, but it only gives me android home and android home 2 as options to pick.

I have tried the methods above, and they're not working for me. Any other ideas?

I'm sorry if this has been covered before, but I couldn't find a thread about it.

    Thanks for your time!

don't remove "home" (i don't think you can), but you can remove anything else like helix, home++, launcherpro, etc..

try this. from your home screen, hit the menu button and select "settings" -> then "applications" -> then "manage applications" -> hit the menu button again, select "filter" and select "all". this should show all the apps on your phone and you *should* be able to uninstall most anything in there..

let me know if that works

Thanks for replying but it doesn't give me the option to uninstall. I've even downloaded oi manager and it says it cannot be deleted.
