Can anyone tell me why all the sudden Google voice has stopped refresh messages?

over the last week I keep getting a message that "thers was an issue refreshing". I get this at various times during the day and especially when I open google voice. Can someone tell me how do fix this? I think it happened during one of it's updates since I've done nothing to make this happen.

Its not the app itself. Sometimes the Google Voice servers are having trouble.

Well, google voice has had problems for 2 weeks now since this is when it started. Any other suggestions? Anyone? The messages seem to be getting rather annoying. You think you have a message & all you get is that error message.

I personally haven't had this problem the problem I've been having is that I have to FORCE STOP it in order to get some messages once in a while.
