Just got a droid 2 and I love it. How do you get the shutter sound to shut off so people don't know you took their picture? I was able to shut it off on my other droid.

Also is this a general problem or just my phone. When I go to add a photo to a contact, it won't do it from a file. It only works if I snap the picture. Very annoying. Please advise.

Thanx,
Kris

I know there is a setting that disables the shutter sound but I can not locate it.

There is no setting on the D2 to disable shutter sound. You have to turn your phone to silent. If you use the Vignette software, it has a setting to silence the shutter.

To add a picture to contacts use the gallery not files.
