Camera on front

My friend and I have droids! And we noticed that there is a lens on our front screen on the top. We know its for camera use. But how do you use it?

The Droid X doesn't have a front-facing camera. What you're seeing is one of the sensors.

there should be three things on the front that may look like a camera if the light hits it right.

light sensor for auto brighness and auto flash on the camera
proximity sensor
status led
