Camera: Landscape onlyfor menu?

I just installed 2.2 and noticed that you could take a picture holding the phone vertical and it will take and save the photo correctly BUT the menus will stay sideways. I thought this would be fixed in 2.2 and when you send the photo to facebook the photo will post sideways. Anyway to fix this?

horizontal vs. vertical

I have same issue 2.2; sends sideways in texting as well even after I rotate? Also cannot delete notification that facebook photo has uploaded? even with task killer? Had to turn phone off and back on to delete?
