Camera Flash Randomly Goes Off

Hi All,

I have had the Motorola Droid for about 3 weeks and have had zero problems until today. The camera flash has begun to randomly go off, mostly when I have the web browser open.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Correct, no picture is being taken. Also, the flash now turns on when pressing the power button to turn the phone on....strange.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I have not installed any flashlight apps. The flash has not malfunctioned since yesterday. Seems a bit strange for it to be a one time deal.

Also, I did google the problem but I did not find any relevant results so I guess its safe to say not many other Droid owners have experienced this problem.

Ahh, you must have the Paparazzi mode checked.

Seriously, have you tried a battery pull? This is the first time I've heard of this.
