I haven't seen this anywhere else, so I thought I'd mention it here.
About half of the time, when taking a picture with flash, the phone locks up. Only solution is a battery pull. After the phone reboots, I have to open the camera, then the pic I took for it to show up in the gallery.
    Has anyone else encountered this?

I don't think its something to return your phone over. There will probably be a software update or something. I don't really use the flash much, but I understand that it should just work right. I honestly dont kknow what could cause this or a fix for it

Eh.. I dunno. I mean, at first glance, I'm impressed with the Charge. The battery life isn't half bad, and the screen is fan-freakin-tastic.

But, it seems like it was rushed... there are fewer customization options on it (example: notification options for battery full are gone), and it is a bit buggy.. sometimes the UI will lag for no apparent reason, and now the flash issue...

Hope I don't have to root it to get basic functionality.

Had it happen again today. I was on Little Round Top in Gettysburg taking pictures. No flash this time. Starting to really get annoyed by this.

I had it happen ALL the time on my first Charge.

Replaced it. Second charge camera was great but it overheated at 111 degrees!!!!!!!

On my THIRD and final in 35 days.

I am not pleased with this phone.... but this 3rd one SEEMS ok! Camera works, video works, not getting hot and holding a charge. (no pun intended)

Mine is going back. I haven't even had it a week and it has locked up almost every time I try to use the camera with the flash on. It's also dropping calls and locking up like it's still in a call. I have to reboot it to get it to work again.

Funny how, since I don't come around much anymore, that this thread was right on top.

I'm just putting up with it. I know I can get a refurb, but in all seriousness, this is my 12th or 13th device this year. I'm over it. I just put up with two reboots a day, and the flash locking it up.
Honestly, the Thunderbolt, as much of a turd as it was, was still better than this.

Wait after your 5th if you call corporate and raise hell they let you pick another phone. Why would you go thru that many and just "deal" with it. Raise HELL! !!!!!!

This is my third I510 and it is PERFECT.
