the resolutions are right in the settings hit the icons in the camera.

no panoramic,..

No widescreen,, BUT, - widescreen is a bust anyway, all it does is crop and zoom in on the picture you took, your loosing resolution.

This isn't obvious.. worst part about the UI of the AOSP camera, IMHO.

Hit settings (top right), and SCROLL DOWN (the not so obvious part) till you see the setting for resolution.

Is that really what it does? Damn, I'm such a noob for never comparing the widscreen details to a 8mp pics details. I'm just always happy to see the picture take up my whole screen when showing them to people.
