Is ADW Launcher installed?
I had a problem wth the Video Camera closing when I hit the record button at the same time I was going through some tweaking issues with a newly installed ADW Launcher app. Uninstalled ADW and the problem went away. Reinstalled ADW and the problem didn't reappear.
