Calendar won't open

About 2 weeks ago my calendar app (default) stopped working. When I open the app it shows up for about 2 seconds and then closes. I uninstalled any new apps I could think of that I had installed recently thinking it might help but still doesn't work. I have no clue what changed or what it might possible be. Anyone else run across this problem or have a solution?
