Calendar Sync Delay

I am having an issue with my Droid Calendar syncing on a timely basis with my Google Calendar. For example, I entered an appointment online in Google Calendar yesterday for Thursday afternoon. I then moved it online to Wednesday afternoon. When I looked at my calendar this morning on the Droid, the appointment wasn't there. However, when I turned calendary sync off and on, the appointment showed up. Why is there a delay in syncing? Any ideas on how to have the sync occur more simultaneously? I have the Setting Profiles app. Maybe I should set up a profile that comes on periodically during the day to turn syncing off and on??

Thanks!

Try going into applications, selecting calendar storage, and clearing data. Just make sure your google cal is up to date.

That's just the way it is. Sync doesn't mean it constantly refreshes the data onto your phone(if it were like that your data usage would skyrocket). A good way is just to refresh it yourself like you did.
