Buying from amazon?

I was browsering Amazon.com for a gift for my nephew, and decided to look at phones that they were selling. I noticed that all their phones are way cheaper then buying them at the version store, is there any difference, or catch with this?

Not sure but Amazon is a solid company so I imagine you will be OK.

No difference, no catch. 30 day return, just like the Verizon store. My wife got her Droid there.

So there's no reason for me to shell out more cash and buy straight from verizon then right? lol

The only catch I know of, is that you have to stay with your current plan and not make any changes, as well as keep it in good standing, for 181 days. The ordering page is a little confusing, especially since the options it shows are ones we already have (unlimited mobile to mobile and 500 texts for $10) and I don't want to get double billed or lose that based on making the wrong choice. Let me know if you order, I'd be curious to know how it goes.
